Like every year, the Fiera Calda (Hot Fair) is going to enliven the town of Vicchio near Florence until 4 September 2011. Closely tied to agricultural and craft traditions that date back to 1400, the fair is a veritable cauldron of activities, games and activities among the most varied. Until 17 July 2011, at the Hall of Columns in Pontassieve near Florence, fifteen interesting specimens from the works by Giampaolo Talani are to be exposed. Tiziano Terzani and the theatre in Florence

On 2 and 3 May 2011 your trip to Florence will be topped by a show to be held at the Pergola Theatre, focussing on the personality of Tiziano Terzani, the journalist and the writer. His wife and the guitarist-composer Francesco Bruno, will give rise to a work that follows, step by step, the character development.

This attempt to retrace his success is articulated in different ways: video, music, narration, to bring to light the events that changed his life. The revenue will be credited to a non-profit organization, active in the context of palliative care, providing specialized and free of charge assistance to cancer patients.

Art Exhibition in Florence

Until 2 April 2011, who is on holiday in Florence can take advantage of the exhibition "Through the bars", held at Merlino Art Workshop. This exhibition presents the works of Andrea Mercedes Melocco, including silhouettes in wood and glazed: human figures of various sizes, designed to indicate the elusiveness of the human soul.
